Ryegantor

In 2015 we brewed Gigantor, a barleywine whose caramel notes are solely the byproduct of a 7 hour wort boil. In the fall of 2016 we began aging this already delicious beer in a Cody Road Rye Whiskey barrel. The result is Ryegantor, redolent of rye whiskey pepper notes, resiny hops, and vanilla and crème brulee notes from the caramelized kettle sugars at play with wood sugars from the barrel.
