Collaboration with BKS Artisan Ales
Our collaboration with BKS Artisan Ales of KCMO began with all the same ingredients…same yeast strain, same malts, same hops…but we differed in execution of those ingredients, brewing an Imperial Juicy/Hazy IPA at the Brookside brewery and an Imperial Brut IPA here. A special yeast strain emphasizes notes of pineapple and orange, flavors further enhanced by the citrusy additions of Indian Coriander and Valencia Orange Zest. Citra and Azacca hops bring an additional level of zest to this very dry and effervescent IPA. The whole thing comes together, evoking Orange Julius’, Tropical Beermosas, and sunshine.
