One of my favorites at Great Taste of Midwest 2009.
A-Murky brownish-red with a strong and persistent tan head that left decent lace.
S-Wow! Nice blast of sour apple, grape, apricot some yeast spiciness and oak.
T-Spicy Belgian yeast collides with big barrel notes and a boatload of sour fruit and turbinado.
M-Medium bodied and actually a bit on the thin side for what it looks like. Full flavours linger with a nice sharp tartness.
D-I REALLY like this one...full of flavour and plenty of dry oak character with all the tartness one could want.
