(review from January 2018) Maltheads rejoice! Excellently flavorful & well balanced dunkel with tons of malty, bready, chewy taste & finish. Tung-scrapin' goodness!

Alley-Oop has a thick, ivory head, a generally-clear copper appearance, with powdery sediment and lacing. The aroma is of sweet gluten. It has a similar flavor, with some faint bitterness. Alley-Oop is medium bodied and has a mostly-dry finish.

On tap. Poured a clear, light brown color with a small, tan head of foam. It smelled of toasted caramel and toffee. Sweet caramel and toffee with a mild bitterness.

Draught @ Brewpub: This one pours a clear coppery color. There was a foamy ecru head that left lots of lacing. Nice nose of mainly malts, some roastiness and a bit of nuttiness. The taste is very good. Very malty, yet very little sweetness. Some nuttiness and a very faint roastiness. Very smooth and easy drinking. Nice.
