Brad Scott’s Mega-caloric Gluten-ator **
The name? A playful rebuke to the refined,
low ABV fare we have been focused on lately.
A maximalist Imperial Stout with most of the calories,
all the gluten, and even some caffeine! Complex
coffee notes (ONYX Coffee) complement chocolate
malt notes, and a mild fruitiness from the inclusion of Demerara
Sugar in the boil. Big, bold, and brash.

Very well balanced imperial stout with good but lighter palate heft than some imperials; subtle chocolate/javaish/roasty/malty notes and a nice lingering, slightly sweetish aftertaste. Incredibly smooth fooler of a 9.8%er. Cheers to XXXVII years! Revision:sideways (but not floorwards). It's got a warming backend that sneaks up on you but if'n this is 9.8%, then I'm 9.8 feet tall! Unbelievably smooth.
