Acquired a 16 oz cold can from @jzeilinger 9-23-25. Canned on 7-9-25; consumed 9-28-25.
Beer poured gold with a nice white head.
Nose comes across as sweet honey biscuit but not catching any hopping.
Taste is a sweet honey biscuit malt base that is attempted to be balanced by noble hops but in the end finishes sweet; 3/10 on my bitterness scale. This is improving as i get down to the end of the pour but is still a tad sweet.
Mouthfeel is medium bodied and smooth.
Overall one has to bear with this as this as the sweetness eventually is not overwhelming.

A - Light gold with a slight bit of chill haze and thin lacing with light carbonation.
S - Light biscuity malt base with light herbal citrus.
T - Soft herbal floral is foremost with light citrus underneath. Soft biscuity malt and light floral citrus bitterness on the back side.
M - Thicker than normal body for a Pilsner with some prickly carbonation wrestling through the liquid to hit the tongue.
O - Unique flavor for the style but it's growing on me,

A fantastic strong Pils.
Very nicely balanced and a magnificent head with excellent retention.
Not the most Imperial of Pilsners, but well done nonetheless.

16oz can purchased from the fridge as a single for $4.05. Canned on 11/10/23, so this beer is almost 10 months old.
Look: It pours out with a nice "slow-pour" style head that was initially two fingers tall and eventually it partially dissipated to a thin white layer with nice lacing. The beer itself is a medium to deep gold color, pretty clear but there is some uniformly distributed fine particulates dispersed throughout. It almost looks like a light toasted copper color. The beer became a bit cloudy in the glass after pouring the bottom of the can.
Smell: This has a "beer-flavored" beer smell. It smells like a German or Czech-style lager on steroids. There's a nice earthy, grassy, slightly fruity (pears, apple juice, honey) aroma that is very pleasant. White grape must. There is a grainy malt base that has a nice toasty sweetness and there are also spicy notes. It does smell a bit boozy.
Taste: It's very refreshing. Super crisp, clean, and dry finish. Up front, it has a nice crackery maltiness. Almost makes me think that I am drinking malt liquor if I didn't know better. Then the finish has a nice bitterness that balances the experience. The finish is a bit spicy and toasty, also a bit boozy. Sprity, lemon notes and lemon zest notes on the finish.
Feel: I would say that it is medium bodied, perhaps on the lighter side of medium. It's pretty drinkable and it's not too light or too heavy.
Overall: It's interesting. I'm not sure when the last time I had an Imperial Pilsner like this was. Most of the Imperial Pilsners that I have seen tend to use American hops, but this one is interesting in that it's using German and Czech-style hops. I like the interesting contrast between the sweet maltiness and the crisp, spicy, dry and hoppy finish. This is probably not my favorite take on the style, yet I do enjoy the creativity and variety.
