Sampling a lightly chilled 16 oz can poured into my snifter. Date stamp is a slightly worrying 12 / 19 / 2024. Maybe shouldnt be a problem with a lager, but we press forward.
Beer pours a clear golden color with a bleached white fluffy head of about 3 cm. This foam fades sort of quickly to a sturdy surface covering and leaves windowpane lattice as it fades away.
Aroma is mild with some grainy malt notes and and herbal tea hop note mixing together. Maybe a little bit of a sweet honey nose too. But definitely fairly mild.
First sip reveals a light body with smooth texture and a very fine carbonation that tickles my palate on each sip.
Flavor is a little more bold with grainy notes and some white bread or biscuit flavor again I get some sweet honey hit and then some bitey hop on the finish that also dries out my palate.
Very drinkable beer that is emptying very quickly from my glass.
Beer is pretty much what I expected, but I do wonder if it was a little more bold when it was fresh. glad I tried it , but would gladly do a more recent can in comparison.

Rein pours clear yellow until the last ounce drops a yeast haze. The head forms a big, fluffy white layer that slowly turns to sea-foam and deposits sticky lace on a Harpoon mug.
The aroma is mildly floral with hops out front. Notes of grain mix with honey and light herbal notes come out with warmth.
The malt has a soft sweetness of light honey and subdued grains. Big gulps bring out light bitterness and mild astringency just before a long, clinging finish. Herbal notes follow the nose.
This one has a medium to full body. The texture is soft and cushy, like cotton balls. It has mild fizziness and no impression of alcohol.
This is a pleasant summer beer which I enjoyed on a mild and sunny afternoon.
