Sampling a lightly chilled 16 oz can poured into a snifter. Beer was received as part of a Christmas beer exchange with my brothers. Date stamp is canned 11/13/2024.
The beer pours a bright clear copper to gold color with a slightly frothy eggshell white head of about 2 cm. This foam fades slowly to a very sturdy surface covering. I do get scattered lattice when I swirl the glass or take a sip.
Aroma is mild but I do get some grainy malt cereal notes and a bit of caramel. Some lightly toasted dark bread too. Maybe a little grassy hop note, but no ABV hints here.
First sip reveals a light to medium body with very fine, yet gentle carbonation. Texture is pretty smooth and the beer , unsurprisingly drinks very easy.
Flavor is some grainy cereal malts and toasted bread with hints of caramel. Some hop note on the finish with a bit of a black tea note and bite that also dries out my palate. This is a tasty easy drinking amber lager. Glad to have tried this one and would drink it again.
