Rafeira Cerveja Artesanal, Lda. "Mosaic IPA"
25 cl / 3,50€ on tap @ Villa Craft Beer & Bread, Sintra, Portugal on 29 November 2024
Notes: A hazy brass colored body is capped by a good-sized head of white foam that displays exceptional head retention and lacing. The aroma is malty and sweetish with hoppy notes of nectarine, orange, and mango. The flavor follows with some additional tropical fruitiness. A median bitterness balances it, leaving it a little sweet upfront but then mainly dry in the finish. It's medium bodied and gently crisp and smooth across the palate. All in all it's a nicely done IPA that could use a little more hops all around but still gets by.
