I had this beer on-tap in a pint glass at the brewery.
Appearance: rich orange hue with a little dash of haze and a thin layer of ivory foam that leaves a thin layer of lace on the glass. Attractive!
Smell: a big sweetness right up front like toffee and honey, giving the fruity hops a very candy-like character. Dig it.
Taste: nice hops that are citrusy with just a hint of pineapple and a dash of dankness. The underlying malt is quite sweet, and so bitterness is on the low side. Still quite good.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a good carbonation and concomitant creaminess.
Overall: a nice sweet candy DIPA. Always a good treat.

Appearance: Clear, brass colored with a low smooth white head that stuck around for a few minutes.
Smell: Pretty strong hop smell - lemon, a little grassy.
Taste: Strong hop bitterness up front. Bitterness sticks around through the malts, which are much sweeter than most DIPAs (I like sweet IPAs, so it works for me). Ends with a lighter hoppy aftertaste; more grassy and tea-like.
Mouthfeel: Thick, moderately carbonated, residual feel is clean.
Overall: Good DIPA. Nothing too complex, but it is super-hoppy and thick. Definitely worth getting if you're at the brewery, if you like sweet DIPAs.
