I decided to try this one after having the pils.
When the bartender delivered my glass, i could see a vibrant coca cola mohogany shine coming thru... deep and rich of hue. The oatmeal head was a dense half finger and beckoned me to sip. The bouquet brought on scents of wet wood and grass clippings.
As i took a few sips i got the flavors of a pile of dried leaves after good rain storm. Flavors of tanic tree bark shavings and bitterness penetrated my mouth... like biting into a raw nut before it's baked and salted. If i ventured to guess, it was like there were too many specialty grains and not enough base malt. The brew was medium bodied and nicely carbonated but i ended leaving half of it.
