This beer smells, sweet, with a hint of malts and raspberry. Tastes like nestles raspberry ice tea. No joke, the flavors taste completely artificial and very sweet. This coupled with a very little carbonation, makes the flavor flat and one dimensional. This does not taste like a beer, it taste like another cheep fruity flavor beer. I could through back a few, but not for 16 bucks a pitcher.

Sampled last Friday (10/2/09)
Pours clear, red, and with a white head. Minimal lacing and retention.
Aroma is sweet, malty, a caramelly. Flavor is a bit off for an amber but thats why I enjoyed it. It was lacking that crummy chalky quality that Ambers have. Medium bitterness. There was also a bit of citrusy quality to the beer, which seems to be a recurring theme in the beers I sampled that night.
Body is low/medium, drinkable. Forgettable but decently made.
