Consumed March 3rd, 2010 at the brewery.
Clear caramel/copper color with a thin ring of white foam.
Aroma is slight, but present: caramel malt.
Appropriate, clean caramel malt flavor up front, some welcome bitterness at the end. Finishes slightly dry, then there's a juiciness on the aftertaste. Somethign in the flavor is slightly off; maybe oxidized slightly?
Not world class, but recognizable for the style and with no serious flaws. Drinkable but nothing to write home about.
