12oz draft pour into a shaker glass.
Appearance: Deeply stained oak, thin head that clears out quickly. Nice and clear.
Smell: Citrus peel, slightly acidic.
Taste: Citrus, grassy, with a hint of over-ripe pitted fruit.
Mouthfeel: Medium body, low carbonation. Slight warmth from the alcohol.
Overall: I’ll be damned… I love to hate this brewery, but the “hate” part might need to be reevaluated. I love them because they’re within walking distance of my house, but I hate them because they generally can’t brew their way out of a box. This is a very average double IPA, but average is a huge step forward for Stadium. I would actually order another pint of this. They’re last couple beers have not been too bad. Let’s hope this is a trend.
