Brewed with a decadent blend of 2-row, flaked barley, Carafa Special 1 and 3, Midnight wheat, and roasted barley. Hopped with Magnum and East Kent Goldings during a long, 2.5 hour boil. Cold and hot steeped with @nelsonstea Chai Latte spice blend. Cold steeped with @tomecoffeeroasting coffee and @penzey_spices Mexican vanilla. Recipe is a wink to Nicole and I's first coffee date where she got me to drink something other than black coffee. Rich aromas of cinnamon and cardamon floating in a cup of espresso. Decadent and full on the palate, with flavors of bitter black coffee and bright baking spices, balanced by a soft vanilla finish. Only gets better as it warms.
