$18 AUD per pint (570ml) on-draught @ Brew Cafe and Wine Bar, Brisbane, Australia.
Nice balance of evergreen/oily hop flavours and subdued roast/chocolate malt. Balance is always the tricky bit with a Cascadian dark ale, but this nails it. Unlike most expressions of the style I've tried, the hop profile complements the malt backbone nicely.
Perfectly carbonated. Has just enough dryness to coax out oomph from the roasted barley. Smooth and approachable, with an apt medium body.
