I had this beer on-tap in a dimpled mug at the brewery in Prague.
Appearance: medium golden hue with a little dash of haze hand a finger of creamy ivory foam.
Smell: lightly sweet crackery malt with a nice earthy hop element.
Taste: crackery malt with a moderate sweetness and a rather pronounced bitterness. One of the more bitter light pilsners I’ve had here in Czechia, but still not bad.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a good carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: this is one of my least-favorite pilsners I’ve had here in Prague … which still puts it streets ahead of most American takes on the style.
