Bubenečský ALE has high bitterness, medium sharpness, lower body and pronounced citrus notes thanks to American hops.

Poured from 500mL can into a dimpled mug. I picked up this can at the brewery; best by 12/1/25.
Appearance: pale golden hue with just a little dash of haze and a finger of frothy ivory foam atop.
Smell: malt is on the sweet side with a rather fruity, yeasty aroma. It's the kind of cloying fruitiness that suggests to me a problem in fermentation. Not infected or anything, but also not great.
Taste: some of the off-flavor comes through in the taste, but it's more subdued than the aroma. There's a bit of a toasty malt and floral hop character going on here, which reminds me of an English pale ale. Bitterness is moderate. It's ... okay but not wonderful.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a decent carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: like I said, I wouldn't call it disgusting, but it's just not that great.
