Near-opaque mahogany, with a high, tight, tan head. The head has longevity and good coating on the tilt. Some date-like fruit on the nose—not strong, but promising. Fine flavor, tending toward dark fruits; much more malt than yeast, with just a little hoppy tang. Creamy texture with just enough carbonation. A credible representative of Vila Nova de Gaia’s noteworthy craft scene.
