Procured a 6-pack of these from Whole Foods for $10 plus tax. An excellent price in today's market, for a very solid IPA.

Pours with a shimmery, almost clear orange-tinged gold body with a large bone white head that leaves sudsy lacing all over the glass. Pretty simple can art, but it boasts bold and aesthetic color choices and classy design.

Aromas of dank cannabis, pine, cedar, juniper, yellow grapefruit, lemon, blood orange, pear, chive, rosemary and black pepper are all prominent. Fascinating, deep and complex. Not particularly fruity. Subtle earthy roasted malt finish. Very herb forward and spicy.

And it comes off as very savoury on the palate--reminds me of Focal Banger. The hemp, pepper, rosemary, cedar and grapefruit notes take center stage and are well supported by a clean, dry malt base with just enough roast to come off kinda pretzely.

Very nice mouthfeel. Relatively rich for a West Coast IPA, which typically tend to be bone dry.

Not easy drinking, but a very solid and grounding, earthy brew. I think it would pair well with some sort of Persian or Mediterranean food.

Clear amber brew with adequate foam in the Piraat tulip. Aroma is woody, some pine, some citrus. Moderate carbonation and spritzy on the tongue. Taste is caramel with pine and orange peel. Not very fruity but aromatics last. Some seeds and stems in the finish. Moderate bitter aftertaste but it grows wearisome. Overall this is a pleasant hoppy brew with the standard flavors. From the 16 oz can purchased at O'Shea Brewing. Dated 01/09/25.

Canned 8/11/22; drank 9/26/22 @ the Yarchives.

See-through pale orange/yellow appearance.

A rough pour yielded a big white head; a thick curtain of lace.

Skunk spray, grapefruit & lemon notes. Uh-oh...

Sticky medium mouthfeel.

Skunk spray & dry ganja flavors. It's like this beer startled a skunk he unloaded on it.

Borderline undrinkable.

Can dated C1-LBC 09/22/20 into a tulip glass.

L: Golden with hint of haze, 1.5 fingers of variable density white head with moderate retention and left limited spotted lacing.

S: Citrus dominant with pine and bready malt undertones.

T: Follows the nose in both profile and relative abundance. Finishes with moderate bitterness and slight acidity, both linger on the palate with a drying effect.

F: Low-medium bodied with medium carbonation, slick on the tongue with slight tingling, crisp on the swallow.

O: Nice traditional West Coast IPA, good price too on the 6pk/12oz format. This will never reach Tier 1 from me for Beachwood hoppy recipes, but its definitely solid.

From a 12oz. can purchased at the beer store.

Super citrusy. Smell is sweet and kind of malty. Very little malt in the taste. Something about the aftertaste screams "hop extract". Sometimes that's a good thing in the mix, but in this case it seems prominent. Alcohol takes over after that. Mouthfeel is smooth, carbonation is just right. Don't get me wrong, this is a solid classic WCIPA. You could definitely do worse.

On tap at Hollingshead’s in Orange, CA.

Thang pours a gorgeous orange that glows like my baby mama when she was carrying my lil soldier (love ya, ma). Along with that is California citrus notes like Chopin took a vacay to Newport Beach. On my tongue is much the same; hella orange and citrus fruits with a lil bite like James got hungry and took a bite out of the peach.

I’d do it again.

Delicious WC expression with some medium dankness and sticky mouthfeel, light on its feet, but highly enjoyable- Nice balance over-all. Hometown favorite.
