650 mL bottle. Clear golden body. Pale malt. Tropical fruit hops. A little bit of garlic. Taste is pretty sweet. Tropical up front. Garlicky with some bitter grapefruit in the back end. Big and a little boozy. Medium carbonation. Really nice hop flavor. I don't mind the sweetness so much, which is usually something I don't love.

From bottle. Pours a translucent gold. Decent head for the abv. Lacing stretches well. Dank hops and an earthy, woody smell. Rustic. Sharp but not overly boozed. Bitter, assertive hopping to overmatch the malt. Feel is a little thin with carbonation on the slightly lower side. Leaves a nice hoppy resin stick.

Poured from a 22oz bottle into a speiglau IPA glass.
Look is a dark burnt golden with a head that dissipates quickly.
Aroma is a lot of dank rich hops, resin and thick with bitter hop smell.
The resin hops aroma attaches itself to the sweet malt creating almost like a syrup that coats your mouth with a light molasses and the taste of hop extract.
I really fun drinker to discover.

- 2015 vintage celebrating Beachwood BBQ's 9th anny, bottled on 14-Dec-15
- 22oz. bottle poured into Golden Road tumbler on 22-Dec-15
Grapefruit and mango zest. High on pine notes with a bit of floral aromatics going on. The hop bitterness is high in the finish. I feel like there's a layer of hop extract that just sits on top of my tongue after each sip. Loading a beer with tons of 9 different varietals will do that. The heat's well hidden for 10%. A bit too hoppy for my tastes, but any Hop Head would love this. I just prefer a bit more balance in the hop profile.
