Can poured into a Mountain Rambler Brewery pint glass
A: Pours golden amber with a frothy off white head that settles to a light layer and leaves a little spotty lacing.
S: Bright juicy citrus runs the show, a little tropical and stone fruit, a little pine, faint floral and herbal notes, crackery malt, and a touch of honey sweetness.
T: Fresh grapefruit jumps out, followed with more citrus, lemon lime and a little tangerine, some resinous pine, a little tropical and orchard fruit, apricot, peach, mango, and hints of passion fruit and guava, slight herbal and floral notes, crackery malt, and a touch of honey sweetness.
M: Medium body, moderate carbonation.
O: I enjoy the classic Citraholic, but i really dig this. Perfect beer for a warm afternoon.

Maybe it’s the fact that I had a much better Citra IPA at another brewery the day before, but I’m not particularly impressed by this beer. It smells strongly of citrus which had me thinking this beer is about to deliver some delicious flavor. Flavor had some decent citrus/orange notes, but the citra hops fell flat and drinkability was a little lacking. I didn’t even finish the beer because I lost interest while eating some excellent BBQ. It may not be fair of me after one beer, but I get the feeling that Beachwood Beers May be overrated due to some local bias.

Like that shitty movie they made you watch in the 9th grade because it was ‘educational,’ this one Stands and Delivers. It’s quite simple: think of your senior year college girlfriend that was already captain of the soccer team (Citraholic), and then ten years later imagine seeing her at The Grove after she had a Kardashian booty lift (Super Citraholic). It’s a win win.

Absurdly citrus forward. Smells like fresh cut grapefruit and tastes like it as well. I'd even say it's too citrusy for my taste. Super tasty, but too fruity.

Poured on tap a clear dark yellowish under a half-inch thick white head which leaves spots of lace. Aroma is pure orange zest. Flavor is bright orange citrus. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Finishes with a zippy, zesty, orange tang.
