16 oz can into a pint glass
Cloudy, yellow-tan appearance as a gentle pour produces and nice sudsy head, sticky lacing everywhere.
Nose is hop-forward, classic west coast style. Citrusy with notes of tangerine and lemon pepper. Grassy with nuances of lemony tea lingering.
Clean, crisp, snappy hops at the front of the sip. Floral and vegetal, offset by honeyed malts. The combination of flavors reveals nuances of apple cider toward the finish, which is clean and short.
Super tasty WC IPA. Balanced with lots of nuances. One of the more unique and tasty brews of the style I’ve had in awhile (no surprise coming from Beechwood).

I don’t get the overpowering onion like Raul...to me, if anything there is a sweet vidalia onion component in the nose. More so I’m getting earthiness and a little musty dankness (not a bad thing).
Earthiness is again the base in taste, but I’m getting some honeydew melon and some pine and citrus in the finish. West coast for sure.
Moderate carb, fairly dry finish, and there is a pleasant lingering astringency.

i didnt get much onion in this like Raul.... great carbonation, although large and light frothy bubbles didnt look so appealing. the taste was well-rounded and enjoyable, i thought, and overall is a very decent brew. i also expected a lot from this being Societe but collabs just generally suck....

Beachwood is usually solid like a number 2 after being on a week long vegan diet. But in reality, what we have here is a real number 2 - and I think it’s obvious to say that Raul ain’t into that. Onions are cool when they are on a burger or something, but when your beer smells and tastes like them... No sir! This beer is more foul than Oprah’s armpits after a morning jog - ay mami!
I just, I mean... We are talking about Beachwood and Societe here... What a damn letdown.
