$12 12oz botte I think. This had a tasty vanilla flavor, nice stout but kind of thin on the body though. Boozy but just not thick enough for my taste.

Batch #1
Appearance: Very dark brown with a medium-sized dark beige head that gradually faded. A nice looking Imperial Stout.
Smell: Modest bourbon, chocolate and vanilla aromas. The nose is balanced with non of the notes standing out more than the others. The nose doesn't just come out to grab you but is somewhat subdued.
Taste: The taste profile features modest bourbon notes, milk chocolate and vanilla notes, The roasted malt presence is fairly subdued, which I'm assuming is intentional, as it's advertised as a dessert stout. The beers is not overly sweet and while the vanilla is noticeable, it's not a vanilla bomb allowing the cacao nibs to make their presence known. The finish dries up a bit with some tannic notes (not sure if it's the oak or roasted malts.
Mouth-feel: Medium bodied with a medium level of carbonation. Not overly thick but the beer has a good mouthfeel.
Overall: A good dessert/pastry stout. The beer definitely has some sweetness but the sweetness never becomes over the top. It's nice to have a good brewery in your home town!
