On-tap at the original Beachwood and served in a tulip, on to the beer:
This Belgian Single is a dark golden, orangish color that initially provides reasonable head and good lace. It's a sweet and spiced nose, one dominant of candi sugar and clove. Not overkill though. In flavor, starts off with vague spice. Sugars and a kiss of pale malt sweetness work their way into the picture. Bubblegum notes echo around. Some bitterness kills off the overall sweet flavor and lingers in the aftertaste. Light-medium bodied moderate carbonation, but airy at times.
An acceptable Belgian Blond. This is made for those who like beers similar to Leffe, but a little more balanced and less syrupy.

On tap at Beachwood BBQ & Brewing in Long Beach, CA.
Pours a clear honey yellow with a foamy off-white head that settles to a film on top of the beer. Small dots of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of malt, grain, citrus zest, spice, and yeast. Taste is much the same with a floral and spice aftertaste. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp and medium boded mouthfeel. Overall, this is a good beer that is easy to drink due to some nice aromas and flavors.
