On Tap

Churchill's Pub & Grille
San Marcos, CA

Golden in color with a moderately sized, tightly-bubbled near-white head that leaves the glass lined with lace.

Hoppy aroma with lots of earth and pine character, along with some mild citrus and grass.

The flavor leans toward earthy and pine hop flavors, with some grass, moderate bitterness, and biscuit malt.

Medium bodied with moderate to high carbonation.

This tastes like a Sierra Nevada Pale Ale clone, which is a good thing.

On tap at Beachwood BBQ & Brewing in Long Beach, CA.

Pours a clear dark orange with a bone colored head that settles to a film on top of the beer. A curtain of foam sticks to the glass on the drink down. Smell is of lots of citrus zest and herbal hop aromas. Taste is of the same with a malty finish. There is a mild bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slight crispness and medium bodied mouthfeel. Overall, this is a good pale ale with a nice hop presence.
