7/2/25 - (Draft - 595 Craft and Kitchen) (Las Vegas, Nevada) Bar Notes: $8.67 with tax HH special, 16 oz draft pour, 6.1% ABV. West Coast IPA, Mosaic & Citra.

Appearance: Clear golden tan base, light sustained carbonation, bright white head leaves thin lacing and a creamy cover over the base, more intense around the rim. 4.25

Aroma: Faint grassy cracker, like a Pilsner. Unexpected but liking it. 3.5

Taste: Closure to expected, citrus leads, dank and pine follows, still have the grassy and cracker notes, could be the malt build, cucumber as well. Not your typical Mosaic Citra profile, but digging the thrown curveball. 4.5

Mouthfeel: Gentle sustained carbonation, drinks at ABV, perhaps a bit higher as it is low (6.1%). Interesting malt twist to the traditional Mosaic Citra mix. Balanced, interesting, everything blends well. Citrus biscuit finish. 4.0

Overall: This is a a well crafted lighter IPA packed with flavor. Malt build has Pilsner vibes with a solid IPA traditional platform. Would love chilling with four packs of these in warm weather, like Vegas in July. 4.5

Pours a clear golden with plenty of foam in the Saint-Martin tulip. Pleasant aroma of lime, cucumber, and grass. Spritzy and light bodied in the mouth. Flavors of citrus. It's kind of watery, but in a nice way. Overall, this is probably the best "Lite" IPA I've had. It's all here, just less sweet, less alcoholic, and less bitter bite. From the 16 oz can purchased at Bine & Vine. Dated 05/29/25.

a clean and light ipa here, expertly crafted and refined, samey with just citra and mosaic on the hop side, but they get a lot out of them, and with the super light malt base the dry hopping really does pop, summery notes of pineapple, orange popsicle, and heady weed, and lemonade, sometimes less can be more, and that is the case with this, real clean, neutral ferment, on the dry side, nice water chemistry evident, and fresh quality ingredients on display. cool to find this on tap too, one of the perks of going to reno is beachwood beer is around a little bit! blonde and frothy headed from the faucet, clear and ever so slightly rich looking, high shine, tons of bubbles. the nose and taste are easily to place as citra and mosaic, a little catty up front, herbal, and then juicy, with meyer lemon, tangerine, and fresh pineapple leading the way, but subtle white grape and pear in play too, biscuity barley in support, pretty basic there. the bitterness is tempered here too for a west coast type, middle of the road, no linger to it, not harsh at all, a bit of snap to the finish but its tidy and quick to drink, not made bold by the bitterness, i think a nice balance overall. this is easy and sort of carefree warm weather ipa, very well executed but less exotic overall than i have come to expect from beachwood in any style, always thankful to be able to drink their stuff!
