On tap at Tony's Darts Away in Burbank, CA.
Pours an opaque black/brown with a 1 inch khaki head that fades to a film on the top of the beer. Random streaks of lace line the glass on the drink down. Smell is of dark malt, dark fruit, and some roasty aromas. Taste is of dark malt, dark fruit, chocolate chip cookie dough, and alcohol. This beer has a good level of carbonation with a crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a good beer that is very much like a hybrid of a BSDA and a stout in my opinion.

On-tap at Beer Revolution
Very dark brown in color with a big tan head. Smells of pepper and roasted malt, but not much else. Maybe a bit of yeast and some other phenols. A little bit chocolatey, some pepper, a strong roast, and maybe a few dark fruit notes. Somewhat light in body for such a big beer. Medium carbonation to it.
