Brewed with an abundance of Citra hops, we also blend in Warrior, Columbus, and Simcoe in the kettle for good measure. Citraholic is double dry hopped for two weeks with an abundance of Citra (and a touch of Columbus) imparting heavy aromas of citrus & tropical fruits with melon and gooseberry nuances.

I like this new type of IPA with the sweet berry flavors. They taste fancier, more pleasant, more refreshing. It’s got sweet blueberry and blackberry, combined with lime, lemon peel, honey dew melon, guava, and passion fruit. Very fruity and sweeter than average. The pine and hay flavors are somewhat subdued. Nicely balanced and expressive. Sunny and lovely.

Got the beer on draught. The color was consistent with an IPA, but it tasted more like a German lager, not an IPA. I assume that there is Citra hops, but the hop aroma and taste were not as present for an IPA. It was a very nice beer, but I wanted a more hoppy presence.

Poured from a 16oz can into a Waterford IPA glass. Pours a pretty straightforward and clear bright gold with over three fingers of soapy white foam head. Looks a little plain but leaves nice lacing as the beer is consumed. Citrus, pine and then more citrus on the nose. As it warms I get an orange marmalade aroma. Taste follows. Citrus, dank resin, pine and even some mild blueberry. Thick, full mouthfeel with a nice carbonation to the finish. Crisp and insanely drinkable and smooth.

I had this on draft 4/6/24 @ the Beer Temple.
See-through orange appearance.
Big white head; strong, tree-rung lacing remained.
Grapefruit, fresh ganja & pine notes in the nose.
Medium mouthfeel.
Grapfruit & fresh ganja flavors up front; sharp pine notes on the finish.
A bit too bold & dry for this timid soul, but I can appreciate that this is high quality West Coast IPA brweing.

Another great crisp citrusy Cali ipa. Nice carbonation on tongue. I disagree with the reviewer who said after the lemony first taste it falls flat. It’s tasty all the way down.

16oz can canned 12/19/22 into a pint glass.
L: Pours clear radiant yellow gold w a 1" slightly soapy white head w good retention, VG carbo with lrg & sml bubbles eventually going to lower fine bubbles, scattered lacing & broken sheeting.
S: Earthy citrus pith, cat pee on a pine tree, a hint of crackery malt, caramel, fruity, a trace of dankness, more caramel with warming.
T: A mix of citrus fruits, some rind, pith: orange, tangerine, light grapefruit, melon, lemon, white berries, honey, sweet caramel malts, a touch of yeast, very lightly resinous.
F: Gently crisp medium bodied feel, med-length lightly drying finish and a comfortably light linger. Smooth overall.
O: A great tasting American IPA that is lightly sweet, gently crisp with a beautiful balance overall. It is not a complex beer and is outstanding in its style.

Canned 05/05/22, Citraholic pours a very slightly hazy golden yellow color with a quickly dissipating head. The taste is very hop forward with citrus hints. A bit of funk, crisp and refreshing, Citraholic is a fine SoCal IPA. Thanks again @RaulMondesi for sharing.
