On-tap at Beachwood Brewing
The pour is a clear golden orange color with a white head and great lacing. Intense hop aroma, particularly on the pine character. Lots of resinous and almost herbal notes. Moderate citrus, mostly grapefruit and bitter peel aromas. I don’t really get any malt. The flavor is highly dry and bitter. Starts off with more of the same pine, herbal, and citrus peel flavors. The finish is boozy and astringent, also has some green apple notes to it. I liked parts of this beer, but the back end of the flavor was not appealing to me.

On tap during the 1st Anniversary Party 7/7/12).
Reviewed from notes.
A: Pours a clear pale yellowish orange with a fluffy off-white head which leaves rings and strings of lace.
N: Huge citrus and tropical notes. Floral, herbal, and of course - dank.
T: Loads of tropical fruit and citrus explosion meets weedy herbal dankness. Resinous and sticky. ABV is hidden.
M: Medium body and carbonation. Sap-like resin leaves oily slickness on finish.
O: Amazing combination of Chinook, Columbus, Centennial, Cascade, Simcoe, Summit and Warrior hops (over 6 lbs per barrel) make this a hop heads wet dream come true. Was able to try again from a growler and on then tap just to make sure this is the real deal. Not to be missed.

Dark, clear golden orange with a small white head that leaves spiderwebs of lace down the glass. Very pretty.
Pungent and dank aromas with lots of pine and floral character. There's also good amounts of melon aromatics, along with a bit of caramel sweetness. Complete and expressive.
The flavor is largely similar to the aroma, with a fairly high level of hop bitterness, dank, piney, marijuana-like hop flavors, and some sweetness. The alcohol is nicely hidden, though definitely still has a presence.
Medium to full bodied, slightly oily, with moderate-high carbonation.
Big, big flavors in a big, big DIPA.

Growler shared at sourfest. Thanks!
A: Bright golden orange. Great color and good clarity. A finger of beige head.
S: Aromatic resinous pine and slightly weedy. Restrained floral presence blends with pronounced fruity notes: apricot, honeydew, orange, mango, and grapefruit. There's a little sweetness but no other malt character I can pinpoint.
T: Pungent pine resin - incredibly dank and oily. Smooth moderate bitterness. Really well hidden alcohol. Mango blends with honeydew, orange, and apricot. Dry, bitter, and slightly boozy finish.
M: Medium body with upper medium carbonation. Dry and somewhat oily.
Overall: Super hoppy and green. Very smooth for such high ABV.

On tap for the first anniversary party at Beachwood BBQ & Brewing in Long Beach, CA.
Pours a slightly murky honey orange with a foamy orange-tan head that settles to a film on top of the beer. Foamy streaks of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of citrus fruit, citrus zest, tropical fruit, and malt. Taste is much the same with an alcohol kick on the finish. There is a fairly mild amount of hop bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a good level of carbonation with a crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a very good beer that strikes a nice balance between sweet and bitter flavors.

On-tap at Beachwood II,
A: Pours a deep gold to light amber, with a medium white head, solid lace.
S: Smells like a Jack-o'-lantern smoking pot. There's a heavy squash component with a lot of dank herbs, dandelion, green character.
T: Similar to the nose, lots of squash/gourd, some definite big citrus notes, with green herbs. A unique take on a Triple IPA, it's big for sure, but doesn't really taste like anything I've had before.
M: Full-bodied, heavy resin, soft overall feel and carbonation, oily for sure.
O: An interesting TIPA, I like the flavours a lot. But not something that's really mind-blowing. Just thought provoking and unique.
