Cask at Oakquinox
The pour is a slightly hazed amber color with a few bubbles from the cask pour. The oak contribution is not over the top, but certainly there. Some fruity hop notes and a mild floral quality. A bit of sweet caramel malt and toast. The flavor has a more wood than the aroma lets on. Moderate bitterness with fair amount of hop flavor (mostly floral and fruity). Good malt base with toast and bread giving the beer sweetness. Not bad, but I prefer the regular version.
