On cask @ Beachwood L.B.'s 3rd Anniversary event.
A: Pours a clear light orange with some suspended hop bits floating about. One half-inch thick white head which yields spots of lace.
N: Mild grapefruity citrus, expecting much more prominent "citra" notes.
T: Tangerines, oranges, grapefruit are evident along with a solid malt backing for balance.
M: Moderate body and carbonation. Finishes dry with citrus.
O: Liked the visible particles of suspended hops, but the aroma was somewhat lacking.

On cask at Woodshop 7 held at Beachwood BBQ & Brewing in Long Beach, CA.
Pours a slightly murky honey orange with a foamy off-white head that settles to a film on top of the beer. Small dots of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of citrus fruit, citrus zest, and some really nice tropical fruit aromas. Taste is much the same with a mild level of hop bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a low level of carbonation with an almost flat mouthfeel. Overall, this is a great beer with some awesome aromas and flavors with the addition of the Citra hops but the cask treatments leaves the beer with a somewhat disappointing mouthfeel in my opinion.
