Gold, citrusy and well-carbonated. Alpha Bomb is a simple yet enjoyable take on a West Coast pale ale. The carbonation is on-point, creating a drier finish than you might expect with the tropical aromas.

On tap at the source in LB. Pours a clear gold under a one-inch thick white head which fades slowly and leaves splotchy lace. Aroma is mildly floral and faintly citrusy with some melon and vinous notes. Flavor is mostly citrusy hops. Light body and moderate carbonation. Finishes somewhat dry and bitter.

On-tap at Beachwood Brewing
Pours a slightly hazed golden color with a white head. Really bright, fresh hop nose. Tons of citrus, particularly grapefruit peel. Some hints of tropical fruit, light grass and herbal notes, and a healthy dose of pine. Both the nose and taste are largely devoid of malt character. Some serious pone and grapefruit peel bitterness. A bit of tangerine along with the grapefruit, some touches of pineapple, and a mild grass note. Very crisp, dry, easy drinking pale ale.
