Muddy, blackberry-brown color. Decent starting head, but it fades quickly to a film of bubbles.
Milky, blueberry sourness to the nose. Vanilla ice cream smell. Slightly sweet, creamy, and smooth.
Tart and dry with a strong blueberry finish. The vanilla is not really present here and it certainly isn’t very creamy. The body is thinner than I thought it would be, but it’s standard fair for a Weisse. Lower carbonation. The finish is lip-smacking and is similar to the taste of fresh raspberries. The aftertaste, while sour, is surprisingly brief.
