Peace of Mind is a relatively new brewery in my neck of the woods, and I visited for the first time today. They had 8 of their beers on tap, plus 2 guest beers and 2 guest ciders on tap, with wine and hard seltzer available too. The styles were a pretty standard set: pale, porter, IPA, DIPA, amber, and blonde, with a chili blonde and a black ale thrown in as well. I got a flight with porter, black ale, chili blonde, and IPA. The IPA was fine, nothing to write home about; the black ale and chili ale were actually not too bad, and the porter was pretty solid.
The location is interesting - it's in a stand-alone restaurant building that I had previously been to (it was a sports bar and barbecue joint in previous lives), so it's kinda big for this kind of brewery. But, the vibe is warm and inviting, with a pool table and shuffleboard and popcorn machine. There seem to be a fair number of regulars in here, and they've also got a vinyl record player going with hits from the 60s and some TVs on mute. It has a very "basement den" vibe that i really like.
They don't have a real kitchen but have basic snacks. Service is friendly - you order at the bar, though there is no bar seating.
