Something happened to this beer. It was vomity making my nose curl. Mouthfeel felt a little thick, but the beer finished dry..I think. I couldn't distinguish dryness and vomitiness after-feel nor could I distinguish IBU. SRM looked right. I traded it in for their IPA. gave it a 21. When I asked the tender for something else, it seemed like he understood what was going on. Hey, this happens. Their other beers didn't have an infectious taste.
Great atmosphere. Steel beams over ash. Hight ceilings. Nice place to grab a pint. Didn't try the food. Don't let this review stop you from trying a pint.

NERAX 2005
A clear reddish copper with fluffy off-white head, barely tinged with tan.
Sweet, light caramel scent.
Chewy toffee in the malt with a piney hop bite and resiny finish. Maybe a bit of syrup, but this cask came on two days before, so that might be unfair. Even so, it's holding up remarkably well.
Nice tender carbonation.
A nice mellow session beer.
