I had several glasses of this brew during a recent visit to BAR. The beer was poured into a pint glass and was chilled to cold. The beer is a slightly cloudy caramel color with minimal edge layer of head. The beer exudes a malty and fruity aroma with caramel and some toffee and a bit of dark fruit. The nose is far from overpowering yet is still complex.
First sip reveals an average body with mild spacious carbonation. Texture is smooth and creamy and not syrupy as some strong ales are. (I dont mind syrupy texture)
The flavor is as nose advertises, lots of sweet malt, caramel and toffee, a bit of brown sugar and some mild hits of dark fruit in the background. No hint of alcohol anywhere making this a very drinkable beer, which could be a little dangerous.
Quite a good beer IMO, worth grabbing a pint or 3 before its gone.

First, I'd like to thank Geff Stopper (BA- Stopper) for his hospitality while visiting Sulldaddy in CT and for supplying me this yummy yummy brew! Served on-tap at Bru Room and poured into a pint glass, it pours a chestnut brown color with ruby tones throughout the body. The head which is merely a surface layer that is a pale tannish color (almost white). Aroma is of some slight alcohol that hits my nose first along with a nutty brown malt (almond) w/ some slight toffee or even some butterscotch and chocolate. Smells pretty yummy to me! Sipping several times reveals an almond flavor along with some sweet chocolate (Almond Hershey Bar) along with some slight smoky roastiness that settles some of the sweetness. Not overly complex that I can tell, but just straight delicious! Buttery feel w/ some nice alcohol bite that finishes off the swallow on the tip of my tongue that lingers for a few seconds. Overall, I know I had 2 of these AT Bru Room at BAR, to which we took the party back to Geff's house and I continued to do a Homer Simpson impersonation...drinkable? Oh yeah!, at least til you fall over!
