Rifle Brigade Pub Brewery

 

My wife and I are trying to visit all of the craft breweries in Victoria and ended up in Bendigo last weekend. The Rifle Brigade looks to be one of the more happening places in Bendigo. It's a cool place with a nice bar, sitting rooms and a restaurant. A microbrew room is adjacent to the bar and turns out the house beers. I wasn't that impressed with the beers themseles, but at least they're trying. Prices are really reasonable, too. It was dinner time so we had a couple of chicken parms. They were only $15 a piece and were quite yummy. The tomato sauce was very good. For dessert we opted to share a sticky date pudding. It was one of the best desserts I've had in a long time.
