Poured from a small growler. Pours a medium coppery amber with a fine, two finger white head with great retention and solid lacing; looks nice. Aroma of biscuit and pale malt, citrus hops, orange, grapefruit and ripe tropical fruit. Flavor is deep biscuit malt, citrus hops, lemon, grapefruit and subdued pine and light stone fruit; moderate bitterness in the finish. Medium bodied with light to moderate creaminess. A pleasant old-fashioned, malty IPA with English style malt and satisfactory, but not that herbal hop profile. Quite drinkable but somewhat mellow and tame. Had no problem enjoying the growler.
