On tap at the brewery taproom in Saigon.
Served in a mug. It has a clear but near black body with a decent beige head and limited lacing.
An off note in the flavor and aroma indicates some contamination, but the beer is still drinkable and the flavor still fits the style.
Overall: disappointing but suggests a clean version might be quite good.

0.4L for 44000 VND on-draught @ the brewpub in Ho Chi Minh city.
Czech Tmavy. No ABV on the menu.
Taste is simple, bringing dark malts and.... well, that's it, actually. I can't say it's imbalanced, because there's really only one flavour.
Smooth, wet, medium-bodied, overcarbonated, unrefreshing.
It's a drinkable Tmavy, though a neutral one. The brewery near the train station in Ho Chi Minh makes a far superior one, and there's a case to be made that Brauhof Nguyen Du's is better as well. Forgettable fare, but better than most Vietnamese beers.
