Brewed at the crack of dawn with friends from near and far, this milk stout is our love letter to the most important meal of the day - beer.
We hosted a brewer’s brekkie where everyone brought their favourite cereal and tossed it straight into the mash. The result? A velvety pour that’s part sweet, part silky, and all mischief.

This was a random present from the wife in September 2025, drunk in November that year.
L: Dark scarlet, almost black in the glass, with a big, fluffy, coffee-coloured head that dissipates into a centimetre-high cover. No carbonation is visible through the blackness.
S: Berries and a slightly sour note at first that gives way to a touch of ground coffee and sweet creaminess.
T: The taste has some raspberry, cola, chocolate, cough medicine and a short, thin cereal finish. There's a hint of creaminess there, too, but it's not as sweet as I'd expect from a milk stout. There's a weird aftertaste that reminds me of the bottom of a bowl of sugary cereal, which I'm not particularly digging in a beer.
M: The body is quite thin, especially for a milk stout. Carbonation is as low as I'd expect, but as noted above, the finish is thin and abrupt.
O: It turns out this is a gimmicky collab where a bunch of brewers dumped their favourite cereal into the mash. The result is weird; the cereal finish now makes sense, and I recognise it as the bottom of a bowl of Fruit Loops. Weird idea, weird beer, weird way to start the weekend.
Cheers!

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
