A black as ink stout with a light brown head that when it settles down looks like the froth on the the top of a hot chocolate. The aroma is chocolate, coffee and a hint of vanilla in the background. The flavor is both chocolate and bitter at the same time. Sort of like bittersweet chocolate. Then there is the smooth dry finish. Very nice.
A friend of mine brought it to me from a trip to Ireland he had just taken.
Note: Product of Ireland is all over the label....but it also states ; bottled in Duesseldorf???? Germany or is there a Duesseldorf in Ireland???

Yes, dry, yes irish. Very good dark brown and foamy appearance and head. Bitter chocolate, roasted malt, lquorice, smoke. Pure style. Not your everday American or even UK stout. A bitter but well worth trying. Hard to get, so thank you crockett for sharing. Carbonation on assertive side.
