The beer pours from the bottle a dark ruby red with a monstrous head that is frothy and light tan, the head gives way to a sheet of fine lace. Toasted grains at the front, sweet malt and a crisp freshness underneath and a fine sniffer it tisÂ’, with a sweet malt laden front and a top that is moderate in feel. Finish is fairly mild in carbonation; the hops are also fair to middling in their spiciness, dry and long lasting aftertaste, a good mild drinking beer.
