This is our collaboration beer with the excellent Bryggverket, Umeå.
Mimir is the wisest of the Aesir gods. He was beheaded by the Vanir tribe. Oden placed his head on a branch of Yggdrasil where it continued to provide advice and counsel. Oden even sacrificed an eye to Mimir to take a drink from his well.
Mimir is a copper coloured, medium bodied English ale with some malt sweetness, a little caramel and fruity character.
Pairs great with roast chicken, fish & chips and cheddar cheese.

Pours a clear copper with soft, soapy head.
Smell is fruity and floral with a bready base. Notes of rye and citrus.
Taste is light, crisp and bready. Soft bitterness and notes of citrus, brown bread and rye with some floral and fruity hints.
Mouthfeel is medium, a bit creamy and well carbonated.
Overall, a very nice, drinkable bitter.
