real well refined, front end sweetness followed by back end lightness, its easy drinking, simple, and mass appeal without being characterless, not an easy line to walk. its not particularly european to me outside of some fresh grainy pils malt, the yeast is borderline neutral on this, and its low bitterness even though there is a bit of late onset hoppy herbal type personality, well balanced and a total ripper, refreshing after some travel, prime location for these guys for that, out by the airport in what not too long ago was nothing but prairie land. the palest and clearest yellow with a lot of small bubbled carbonation and a short fizzy white head, looks real polished. the aroma has a faint white bread and confectionary sugar thing going on, some minerality from the water, and lemon and green tea sneaking in from the hops, but this is real low on the hops overall, and doesnt even really smell or taste noble to me. the flavor is more robust than the nose, very little from the yeast, the grain is dry and grounded, and there is a briskness to this overall. a light cornflake thing and some late citrus almost make it hit like a mexican lager, really light but i like it and still think its found a way to be distinctive. love the high carbonation on this and the lighter body, and the upfront sugar is all but gone on the swallow. solid overall beer, definite crowd pleaser and seems perfectly built for their lovely sunny patio space!
