a real simple wheat beer that they claim to brew wish fresh peaches. i like it being rather basic, its also not over fruited, so its still drinkable while showcasing the fruit. it has a hazy sunny orange tone to it, a short lived white head, and a really wonderful aroma of fresh dripping ripe yellow peaches in high summer. it also has some of those sweet peeled canned yellow peaches that i like, so this really is doing it for me in terms of the nose, ive had more intense and even more natural smelling peach beers, but this is real pleasant, very light cereal grain in support, little else, not much at all from hops or yeast, and that is true in the flavor as well. the peach is more candied in the taste, not as drippy and ripe and real, more peach rings or something, not overly sugary, but less of an authentic taste, could be broken down some in the ferment, no saying its an extract or anything, just that it smells a lot brighter and natural than the flavor. not much sweetness which is nice, but still a little linger. perhaps a little full in body to be a total drinker, and as it warms the peach takes on a light perfume thing, but the carbonation is good and i could have a few of these. looks like they do a watermelon one too, would love to try that one down the line sometime...
