definitely my favorite beer from our visit here, this is absolute fire, their solid but not like totally epic hazy ipa, but in this instance jazzed up with raspberry terpenes, its an amazing addition and totally transforms this, and its fruity without being fruited, in a cool way, like the leaves and canes of the raspberry plant but not necessarily the berries themselves, just awesome, and with the citrusy and bitter for a hazy hop profile, its incredible. still murky in the glass, the terps dont change the look of this at all, frothy white headed, looks good. the nose is tea-like which is cool, still hoppy, but just as raspberry plant forward too, a great interaction here, red rose, clean lemon, light spruce, zested lime, love it, the terps add a ton of freshness and vibrancy. the flavor is the same, to me the terpenes kind of drive it, even ahead of the hops, not overdosed though, its genius, totally an original profile, which is so rare for a hazy ipa these days. its not sweet at all, but the terpenes do seem to offset some of the hop bitterness, its crazy fresh and summery and drinkable, and downright unexpected. its rare to learn something from a beer anymore, but this opens up a whole unique range of flavor possibilities that ive never even considered. ive seen hop and weed terps in beer, but fruit ones could be a real game changed. looks like these guys do several variants of this, which is way cool, hope to catch a couple other next time through. dont sleep on this place, they have some awesome beers happening, none more exciting than this one!
