On tap at Puerto Juarez Brewery in Cancun, Quintana Roo, Mexico.
This one pours a dark brown, almost black color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells like roasted malt, toasted bread, pumpernickel, and coffee.
This is definitely not quite as full bodied and creamy as you’d like, but it’s honestly pretty tasty considering how laid back and loose feeling the whole brewery experience is here. There’s some nice roasty notes, some chocolate, and a nice warming toasty feeling overall.
This is light bodied, watery, but drinkable.
It could just be that I was very tired of sweet tropical drinks at this point, and I wanted to try really any beer, but I definitely enjoyed this one.
