Carbon Copy "Mote"
$4 / ?-6 to 7 oz. (a small Willi Becher glass) on tap at the brewery on January 28, 2023
Notes via stream of consciousness: A very hazy golden body is capped by a short head of bright white foam that exhibits average head retention and lacing. In the nose you'll find grainy malt and floral and citrusy hops. The flavor follows with a lightly sweetish malt and everything else found in the nose. The Belgian yeast comes through, and it's rounded out with some additional notes of apple, pear, soft spice, and light herbs. A moderate to median bitterness balances it and it finishes short lingering with some mild mineralish character and a light touch of spiciness. In the mouth it's medium-light to medium in body and crisp with a standard carbonation. Overall it's fairly delicate but still flavorful.
