"This stout boasts a rich blend of roasted barley, coffee malt, and a variety of dark malts, creating layers of deep, roasted flavor. Balanced by a touch of Saaz hops, it’s then generously infused with one of our favorite cookies, adding a sweet, nostalgic twist to every sip."

Poured from a can into a pint glass
Appearance -The beer pours a deep brown, close to black color with a one finger head of tan colored foam. The head has a great level of retension, fading slowly and leaving spiderweb lacing on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma is quite heavy of a roasted and toasted smell mixed with tons of chocolate and a big showing of brown sugar and molasses. There is also a big presence of a roasted and bitter coffee as well as notes of cherry and prune. Other sweet smells of vanilla and powdered sugar, along with a touch of marshmallow and crème are there as well, producing a rather rich and decadent aroma.
Taste – The taste begins with a sweet chocolate and brown sugar taste paired with a big showing of smooth roasted malt and some light bitter coffee. Other flavors of caramel and toffee are in there as well, along with some of the vanilla and the powdered sugar that were in the nose. As the taste initially moves forward the roast and bitter get a bit stronger while the sweet fades a tad, with some light nut joining in. That all changes however toward the end, with the sweet getting more intense, with a brownie like flavor coming to the tongue and leaving one with a rather rich, chocolate, dessert taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is silky and thick with a moderate carbonation, both good for the big desert nature of the beer.
Overall – A big and flavorful stout, that while approachable is rather formidable at the same time. A nice dessert beer.
